Six more days until we leave for Outdoor Education! Birds chirping, Elk's pattering on the hard dry mud. Coyotes howling away as I shiver. 6th graders yelling in excitement. Animals, trees, mountains, all will be visible. I'm exited to see the elk and look at the mountains. Thinking how blessed we are to have the Rocky Mountains when people travel all around the earth to see them. As I stand, the cool mist of the early morning reminds me why I'm here. Looking down on the mountains and hoping to see snow :). Cold rivers running smooth across my hand. Listen to the Elk bugling. Glimpse the trees swaying. Sniff the mountain air. Touch the running rivers. I am so ready for the challenges and fun at Outdoor Ed!
